Description

Designed for surfers who ride waves in a kneeling or sitting position without a paddle, the Para Surf KNEEBOARD 3 BAY (kneel) is a board crafted to turn every session into an opportunity for self-expression, confidence, and fluidity.

Its generous width at the tail provides stability and maneuverability, essential for picking up speed or carving turns without ever compromising balance. Generally, its dimensions range from 6’0’’ to 7’0’’, depending on the rider’s size and skill level.

The front is equipped with one or two grip handles, allowing the rider to stabilize in the wave. The deck, covered with a comfortable foam surface (full or partial), ensures good grip while protecting the surfer’s contact points. As always with 3 Bay, each model is custom-made to meet the specific needs and riding style of the user.

Who is it for?
Surfers in a kneeling or seated position without a paddle, with partial or complete lower limb amputation, falling under the Kneel category of para-surfing.This board is designed for surfers with mild to severe visual impairments, corresponding to the Visual 1 (IBSA B1) and Visual 2 (IBSA B2/B3) categories.

Technical Construction :
Like all 3 BAY para surfboards, the KNEEBOARD is designed to be sturdy and durable:25 kg/m³ EPS foam with a central CP wood stringer for good support and enhanced strength.
