The handi surfboard TIVIEC

Description

The TIVIEC handi surfboard is designed to introduce beginners to surfing in small waves (less than one meter) for people with limited mobility or seniors who can remain seated in the water with the assistance of an able-bodied partner. The partner guides the process, including getting into the water, paddling out to the lineup, selecting a wave, and starting the ride. They can leave the beginner surfer alone to ride the foam, or surf alongside them, resting their torso on the specially shaped tail and holding onto the dedicated carrying handles.

Designed to offer both comfort and safety, it allows the rider to become one with the board, regardless of their physical abilities.

Its length of 6′ 7“ (200 cm) with a pronounced nose rocker and a width of 32” (81 cm) ensures excellent stability and a smooth glide, with little risk of the nose digging in during takeoff. The seating area is covered with non-slip EVA, guaranteeing good grip and maximum comfort during the session.

Construction
The TIVIEC 3 BAY is designed to withstand the most demanding conditions:

EPS foam, density 25 kg/m³
Fiberglass laminate + UV-treated epoxy resin, with 1 layer of Innegra/Carbon on the underside.
Volume: 150 liters
Weight: 7.5 kg.
PU foam reinforcements (100 kg/m³) under the fin boxes to withstand impacts when landing on the beach.
