CNC – Precision Machining
At 3 Bay, we are equipped with a KMS 5X CNC machining center, capable of processing blocks up to 18 feet long. This high-precision machine allows for the machining of various shapes such as surfboards, stand-up paddleboards, windsurfers, kayaks, wingfoils, and even small sailboats.
Our CNC is specially designed to cut expanded polystyrene, polyurethane or PVC foams, within the limits of the machine’s x, y and z axes.
Whether you’re a brand looking to outsource design and production, or a hobbyist looking for a pre-shape, we can help. Simply provide us with a usable 3D shapefile, and we’ll take care of the rest.
